- What does “personal printing rights” mean? It means you have the right to print your wedding photos anywhere from your disc for yourself, your family or your friends. It also means you have the right to post them to facebook or your personal wedding website. You are also allowed to publish (magazines, flyers, newspapers, etc) with my permission.
- What kind of albums do you offer? I do offer 3 photo album styles hand-build in USA by Vision ART™
- Can other people take photos while you are taking them? Yes, of course! However, during any formal portraits it is suggested that you request your guests to wait until after I have completed my work. This ensures that there are no distractions or delays.
- What kind of camera system do you use, film or digital? I use 2 Canon™ DSLR and 4 to 6 lenses on a wedding day. Total of 9 cameras and 33 lenses.
- Do you bring backup cameras and lenses to the wedding? I have several lenses and bodies to make sure that I can deliver beautiful wedding photography on your special day. I have experienced camera shutter failure, and lens malfunction in the middle of a ceremony, and because I had back-up gear with me all the time, I didn’t miss a beat.
- Do you shoot alone? I always shoot alone, therefore I cover the major events of the day by myself in order to maintain my own stylistic and artistic photograph.
- What sort of experience do you have? Since 2007 I’ve photographed over 150 weddings in many US States with 100% positive feedback.
- Can you take our engagement or bridal portrait? And where should we take our engagement pictures? Absolutely. You may add an engagement or bridal session to any wedding package for an extra fee (Free on Platinum and Gold package only). Most couples choose to take their engagement pictures on outdoor locations, which can be natural settings, cityscapes, city landmarks, college campuses, your home, or just about anywhere!
- Do you charge a fee if the wedding and reception are in more than one location? What if we want to go to a third location for pictures? There are no additional travel fees as long as the locations are within the same local Chicago metro area. I’ll be able to drive around up to 20 miles limit between locations without charging any extras.
- How far in advance do we need to book? Is a retainer required to book your services? When is the balance due? Most clients book their photographer as soon as they have a date and venue chosen. Popular dates such as May, June, September and October, holiday weekends do tend to book very quickly. A $500 deposit signed agreement “non-refundable retainer” is required to secure the wedding date, the remaining balance is due on the day of the wedding. I generally complete the book up about 4 months in advance of your wedding.
- Do you photograph other events? Yes I do. Please check my event/portrait website for full portfolio and information – Marcello Rodarte
- How many weddings Extravaganza can book in a year? Extravaganza books up to 12 weddings per year only.
